Your story

Bought as a $400 dollar roller to strip and make into an autocross car. over a few years the car got better and better going from a basic first gen SBC to carb LS. The local venue closed down so I went back to my roots in drag racing. Installed a small nitrous kit on the carb ls and went into the 10’s which was slow to me. Decided to go turbo and made my own kit and a cheap ebay cast 78/75. This got the car into the mid 9’s still on the factory Dana 36 independent rear. I stepped up to a better 78/75 and did the solid axle conversion. This set up went a best so far of a 1.23 60ft 5.57@123 in the 1/8th mile. Best 1/4 mile is a 8.79@150.
Have more to go on the new larger turbo, and another engine on stand by if needed. This car has surpassed all my expectation in every stage of it’s evolution. I love that it’s street leagl with no issues in Florida, runs 8’s and is dead nut reliable as I just fill it with E85 and change the oil. It’s done over 100 mile trips before as well.
